If the cement you want to add concrete patterns to is old, you should also use acid. After this, let the cement dry for a period of twenty-four hours. This helps ensure proper drying and reduces chances of cracking.

A releasing agent might also be necessary after the acid treatment. This helps release pressure after which the surface should be washed and a seal applied. When applying concrete patterns either using colors or stamps, you must ensure proper observation of the laid down procedures. Even though cement is one of the strongest materials, a job done poorly will not last long.
